Cisco introducing CCIP-CCNP Service Provider Migration Tool

CCNP Service Provider certification replacing CCIP certification

Beginning 29th October 2012, Cisco’s !CCIP certification will be retired. Individuals interested in pursuing a professional-level Cisco Service Provider certification are encouraged to obtain the !CCNP Service Provider certification.

To achieve this new certification the candidate would need to pass 4 new Cisco Service Provider exams. A prerequisite for the CCNP Service Provider certification is the !CCNA Service Provider certification or the !CCNA (Routing & Switching) certification + one of the CCIP exams QOS, BGP, MPLS, BGP+MPLS, ROUTE or BSCI.

Fast Lane offers all courses that prepare for both the CCNA and CCNP Service Provider exams.

If you currently have a valid CCIP certification or in the process of pursuing a CCIP certification and would like to instead pursue a CCNP Service Provider certification, visit the CCIP-CCNP Service Provider Migration Tool.
