New NetApp courses for Data ONTAP 8.0 available soon

The new NetApp courses for Data ONTAP 8.0 will be available as from 1st January 2011.

The !Data ONTAP 8.0 7-Mode Administration (DOT87M) course will replace the Data ONTAP Fundamentals 7.3 course. The course will be scheduled monthly and teaches the participant the knowledge and skills to administrate a storage system running Data ONTAP 8.0 7-mode, the successor of Data ONTAP 7G. The changes between the 7.3 and the 8.0 7-Mode courses are few which is why attending an update course is not required.

The ! course is a brand new course. A participant will learn the evolution of Data ONTAP clustering, understand the benefits of the product, be able to explain the architecture and functionality of a Data ONTAP cluster, and be able to install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Data ONTAP clusters.
