Cisco Career Certifications and Paths
With the redesign of the CCENT and CCNA certifications the Cisco certification program for individuals changes. Many certifications no longer require CCNA as a prerequisite as the CCENT certification will be sufficient.

All changes are valid with immediate effect, the changes for the CCDA certification excluded. A candidate is currently not required to have a CCENT or CCNA certificate to achieve the CCDA certification. As of 1st October CCENT will become a prerequisite for CCDA.
