New Collaboration certifications will be replacing CCNA Voice, CCNA Video and CCNP Voice
Cisco introducing CCNA Collaboration and CCNP Collaboration certifications
Today, 17th February 2015, Cisco introduces the !CCNA Collaboration and the !CCNP Collaboration certifications. Both certifications are part of the Career Certifications for individuals.
Voice and video are integrated in the new Cisco certifications. The certifications are based on Unified Communications version 10, while the expiring CCNA Voice and CCNP Voice certifications are based on Unified Communications version 8 and 9.
The CCNA Voice, !CCNP Voice and !CCNA Video certifications will expire. The last day to test for the CCNA Voice and CCNA Video certifications will be 14th August 2015. No new certifications for CCNA Voice and CCNA Video will be issued beginning 15th August 2015. For the CCNP Voice certification Cisco will communicate the retirement date at a later moment. The certification will most probably retire in Q4 2015. Certifications that have already been achieved will remain valid for 3 years.
To prepare towards achieving the new CCNA Collaboration and CCNP Collaboration certifications new Collaboration courses are introduced. The CCNA Collaboration courses are available now, as well as the exams. The CCNP Collaboration courses and exams will be available in April 2015.

The prerequisite for the CCNP Collaboration certification is a valid CCIE or !CCNA Collaboration certification.
