Cisco introduces new certification option for CCNA Voice candidates

Today – 24th June, 2009 – Cisco implements program changes to the CCNA Voice certification. There will now be two options available for candidates wishing to achieve their CCNA Voice certification: an enterprise and a commercial option.

The CCNA Voice certifications is a prerequisite for the !CCVP certification.

The new CCNA Voice certification enterprise option assesses skills and knowledge related to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0 (CUCM 6.0). Candidates will achieve their CCNA Voice certification by passing the 642-436 CVOICE exam. To make sure candidates meet the necessary skills and knowledge Fast Lane offers the ! course.

The CCNA Voice certification commercial option assesses skills and knowledge related to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express 4.1 (Cisco UME) and Cisco Unity Express (CUE). Candidates will achieve their CCNA Voice certification by passing the 640-460 IIUC exam. To make sure candidates meet the necessary skills and knowledge Fast Lane offers the !Implementing Cisco IOS Unified Communications (IIUC) course.
