Introducing the new CCNP Wireless curriculum

Cisco is introducing four new Wireless courses for individuals to prepare for the new !CCNP Wireless certification.

The new CCNP Wireless certification acknowledges advanced-level skills and knowledge in Cisco wireless networking. It serves as the next step for individuals who have completed their !CCNA Wireless certification and is an important preparation for the new !CCIE Wireless certification.

Fast Lane is proud to have been working closely together with Cisco to develop two of the four new CCNP Wireless courses.

The !Conducting Cisco Unified Wireless Site Survey (CUWSS) course is a 5-day course. The goal of the course is to provide students with information and practice activities to prepare students to technically plan and conduct a wireless site survey. On completion of this course the student will be able to design the RF network and conduct a post installation assessment to ensure compliancy.
Matching exam is 642-731 CUWSS.

The !Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Voice Networks (IUWVN) course is designed to give students a firm understanding of how to integrate VoWLAN services into the WLAN and be able to implement VoWLAN, QoS, and high-bandwidth applications into the wireless network. The IUWVN course reinforces the instruction by providing students with hands-on labs.
Matching exam is 642-741 IUWVN.

The !Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Mobility Services (IUWMS) course is designed to give students a firm understanding of how to integrate mobility services in to the network; tune and troubleshoot the WLAN and implement indoor enterprise MESH networks. The IUWMS course reinforces the instruction by providing students with hands-on labs to ensure students thoroughly understand how to implement mobility services in the wireless network.
Matching exam is 642-746 IUWMS.

The !Implementing Advanced Cisco Unified Wireless Security (IAUWS) course is a 5-day course. The goal of the course is to provide network professionals with information to prepare them to secure the wireless network from security threats via appropriate security policies and best practices, as well as ensure the proper implementation of security standards and proper configuration of security components. The IAUWS course reinforces the instruction by providing students with hand-on labs to ensure students thoroughly understand how to secure a network.
Matching exam is 642-736 IAUWS.

The CCNP Wireless courses can be taken in any order. Prerequisite for all of the courses is attending the !Implementing Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Essentials (IUWNE) course, also developed by Fast Lane.
